T9 Text Input: Dangerous Ambiguities
My phone has a wonderful feature called T9: when sending text messages, I needn’t press 2 once for “a”, twice for “b”, thrice for “c”, etc., but only once—most words are uniquely specified by the number-to-letter mapping.Some, however, are not.
