I am currently a Masters candidate in the dept. of Computer Science, University of Colorado at Boulder. I am also a research assistant in the Intelligence in Action lab founded by Greg Grudic and Jane Mulligan. My research interests include development of theoretically well understood algorithms specifically in the domain of unsupervised and semi-supervised learning. Another one of my interest is to uncover problems in machine learning that could benefit from areas of pure and applied mathematics. Of course I have only just started, as you can tell from my publications page. Applications of interest includes robotics, text mining and bioinformatics.
